Baby Seth update

Since it's been a little bit since our last post, I thought it might just be time to write again to update everyone on our little boy! He's growing like a weed and is just as cute as ever. Not that anyone ever had a doubt I'm sure! (Can't tell that I'm a proud parent, can you?)

He's started sitting on his own for a few minutes at a time and he's doing much better at "tummy time." Where he used to not tolerate it at all, now he'll stay on his stomach for a little while before he decides he's done. He is even rolling from his stomach to his back. (I know, I know, that's the easy one, but hey, I'm still thrilled!)

He also has this cute little crib toy - it's supposed to attach to the wall of the crib, but we've got it on the side of his stationary jumper. (I can't tell you how much I love that thing - almost as much as Seth does I think! Thanks SO much again to my awesome girlfriend for letting us borrow it!) It has little fish in it and when you push the button it plays music, lights up, and the fish wiggle. Anyway, he's started pushing the button all by himself! It's funny, he'll start it and stop it and start it again.

He's still working on the hand-eye coordination thing, but hey, it can't all come at once! I think we're going to try cereal with him tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Can you believe he's almost 5 months old already? It's gone by so fast...

4 Months Old!

Can you believe little Seth is already 4 months old?! How fast the time has gone by... He's growing up before our eyes - sometimes almost literally it seems. Here he is in his bumbo seat. He's my little cutie!

We went in for his 4 month checkup last Friday and he got a clean bill of health. He's weighing in at 14 lbs 12 oz and is in the 50%. He got his four booster shots and was such a trooper! I did better this time and Seth was the only one who cried! :)

He's learning new things every day. He's started reaching out for toys that you put in front of him, and he loves his jumper. He likes to reach out and try to move the beads from one side of the arch to the other. He also likes his bumbo seat and will sit with daddy and watch him play video games. When you read to him, he likes to reach out and pat the pages. So far we stick to board books!
